Daycare Requirements
All dogs attending daycare must:
- Complete a 3-hour Meet & Greet prior to joining daycare
- Be spayed or neutered
- Be on regular bug and deworming treatments
- Be fully vaccinated for Rabies, Distemper, and Parvo
First Day & Transition Process
All entrances into the daycare area include a transition kennel system that helps safely separate dogs entering daycare from the main play area.
Not every dog is ready to jump into group play on their first day, and that is completely okay. We never force dogs into the daycare area, as we want daycare to remain a positive and low-stress experience.
Some dogs simply need time to observe, adjust, and become comfortable with their surroundings before joining the group. In these situations, dogs may spend time relaxing in a kennel where they can safely watch the daycare environment at their own pace.
A Typical Day at Doggy Daycare
When you bring your dog to the facility:
- Have your dog/s on a leash
- If another dog is in the check-in area, please wait until they have entered or exited before approaching to help avoid unwanted interactions
What to Bring:
- Any medications with clear instructions
- Lunch/food if your dog requires it during the day
Dogs spend their day socializing, playing, exploring, making new friends, and enjoying both indoor and outdoor play spaces.
Weather permitting, pups may enjoy access to our large outdoor swimming pool with stairs, along with two smaller lounging pools to cool off and relax in during warmer days. Outdoor play and pool time may be adjusted during extreme heat or cold to ensure the safety and comfort of all dogs.
Fresh water is always available during playtime, and of course, all dogs receive plenty of love, attention, cuddles, and staff interaction throughout the day.
Dogs who bring lunch are separated into individual kennels during feeding time. After eating, they rest for approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour depending on size to help reduce the risk of bloat and allow for proper digestion.
All dogs also receive structured rest breaks throughout the day in individual kennels with access to water. These breaks help prevent overexertion, support decompression, allow dogs to regulate energy levels, avoid overstimulation, and reset before heading back out for more fun.
